Hands carefully folding a Chinese dumpling

Our story

Made by Hand. Rooted in Tradition.

D4Dumplings was born from a love of authentic Chinese Dim-Sum and a desire for people to experience the theatre of preparing and serving Dim-Sum in the comfort of their home.

How it started

From Sydney to London — and now Tel Aviv

My love for Cantonese food grew over decades of travelling and working across the world. It was a simple frustration that sparked everything — I couldn't find handmade dumplings worth eating at home. So I learned to make them myself, and somewhere along the way, a passion became a calling.

I started D4Dumplings to share that experience. Every piece I make is folded by hand using recipes refined over years of practice — no shortcuts, no compromises on texture or flavour. The pleating, the filling ratios, the broth — every detail matters.

Today I deliver to homes across Tel Aviv, run intimate dim sum masterclasses, and cater for small events. But the kitchen is still the same: small, focused, and quietly obsessed with getting every fold right.

What we stand for

D4D’s Values

Always Handmade

Every dumpling is folded by hand, one at a time. No moulds or machines — just skill, patience, and practice. I find it therapeutic.

Authentic Recipes

My recipes are rooted in traditional Cantonese Dim-Sum technique and tradition combined with a modern contemporary twist.

Small Batch Production

I only make small batch productions to ensure quality control all the way from my kitchen to your plate.

Community First

From deliveries and workshops to catering, I love bringing people together over food. That's what dim sum has always been about for me.
